If you are thinking about getting an Aribex Nomad Digital X-Ray machine, my advice is — “Do It!”

We have been using the Aribex Nomad for several years now and love it for a few reasons, not the least of which is it’s portability. Having a portable X-Ray machine not only allows you save money by not needing a machine in every room, but it also lets you take it other clinics and medical offices to provide exams and consultations on the road (which is a great way to get new patients).

Another great aspect of the Nomad is the look: it allows you to remove some of the sterile “clinic” feel from your operatories, which helps create a great first impression for patients, especially those who are afraid of their dental visits. The bonus? It looks a little like a gun from Men in Black, so it gets the patient talking, which is a great way to build rapport (and who doesn’t want to pretend they are a special operative fighting aliens?).
