We offer a product review for the Tooth & Gums Tonic System (which includes their natural toothpaste, mouthwash, and breath spray), one we recommend quite frequently in our own dental practice.

Tooth and Gums is a natural mouth rinse and toothpaste that appeals to the fluoride-free population as well as those who appreciate natural and organic products. With essential oils, it does a good job of freshening the breath and it’s proven herbal formula is a good substitute for traditional toothpastes.

Dr. Marvin: I’m Dr. Marvin from We’ve got a great product; it’s a product that I use and that we have in our office. This is Tyler. He’s here joining us from the Dental Herb Company. How are you doing, Tyler?

Tyler: I’m doing well. Thank you, doctor.

Dr. Marvin: As far as I know (correct me if I’m wrong, Tyler), we have three main products through Dental Herb Company. They’ve been around for a while. Tell us a little bit about the company and your products. Tell us what makes it unique, and why people should be buying it.

Tyler: Thank you very much. Our products are called the Tooth and Gum System. We have the Tooth and Gums Tonic, which is a super gingival rinse. We have Tooth and Gums Paste, which is a toothpaste. We have Tooth and Gums irrigant, which is meant to be diluted and used in an oral irrigator like a water pick. We also have Tooth and Gums Spritz, which is a really nice mouth spray. Our products use all natural ingredients. No alcohol, no chemicals. The active ingredients are herbs and essential oils. It’s great for oral hygiene. It’s excellent for killing bad bacteria, and helping patients with periodontal disease, gingivitis, or halitosis.

Dr. Marvin: That’s what I like best about it, that it’s all natural. There are a lot of products out there that are not natural and just not good for you. At our practice, we have the spritz, the toothpaste, and the mouthwash (Tooth and Gums Tonic). One of the unique things about this is that you can’t really get it at Walgreens, CVS, or anything like that. It is a very unique product that is really only distributed through dental offices. I have to tell you, the smart dentists know that this is the right product to use. So, other than it’s being all natural, what are some of the benefits of this product?

Tyler: The herbs and essential oils are well known natural remedies that have been used for literally thousands of years. They have a lot of benefits. There’s linkage between oral health and overall body health, as a lot of people on this website probably know. These herbs and oils are very therapeutic. So for people that have enflamed gums, for example, or even a little sore in their mouth. This product is excellent at promoting overall mouth health. Especially the tonic, but the toothpaste too.

Dr. Marvin: So if you want a healthy toothpaste (also if you want fresh breath, the spritz is really good), it doesn’t have any alcohol in it.

Tyler: Actually, let me also say that Clinical Research Associates, the well-known, independent research organization, CRA, did a halitosis study. Our product actually ranked first in the study and preventing or taking care of halitosis. That’s the number one independent research organization.

Dr. Marvin: That’s incredible news, considering that it doesn’t have any of those preservatives or artificial colors.
